‘Fun’ by Blondie

Blondie have premiered their new video and song ‘Fun’, taken from their upcoming album ‘Pollinator’.

Singer and pop icon Debbie Harry has become a beekeeper, and she is sharing that new found passion with us mere mortals.

The song is about someone wanting to go back home, home being Mars, and warns about the dangers of having too much fun, but the band advocate on the importance of fun.  They are very vocal at the moment, speaking against Trump and the importance of activism in these times. It is fitting to quote them quoting someone else.

Quoting Emma Goldman, ‘If I can’t dance I don’t want to be part of your revolution.’

Blondie will never not be cool, and we should be very thankful they’re back.
